The Calgary Stampeders are the third-oldest active franchise in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the oldest professional sports team in Calgary. Each season over 250,000 fans walk through the gates to enjoy a local tradition that is Stamps Game Day.
For 11 seasons I developed the creative, established the tone and rolled out a multi-platform advertising campaign that would rally the “die-hards” and welcome the “what’s a down’ers.”
Each season required hundreds of deliverables with an increasing focus on new media advertising—online display ads, social media campaigns, etc.
Beginning in 2017, I transitioned away from day-to-day design execution and began consulting on brand development, campaign planning and advertising strategy for all Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation teams, including the Calgary Flames, Calgary Hitmen and Calgary Roughnecks.
